A new era begins

Every year the Samuel Gardner Memorial Trust gives away over £50,000 to organisations that support music, the arts and the natural world. A recognised longstanding funder of music education, we currently support around 30 organisations annually across the UK who undertake projects centred on learning and participation, music in healthcare, young people’s musical development, and inclusiveness.

Despite the many and varied challenges the arts face, there is much to celebrate, and here at the Trust we want to play our part in championing the people and organisations that go above and beyond, moving mountains to bring music to all parts of society.

To help us do this, we are launching a new brand, a new website and are now on Instagram. We invite you to follow us at @samuelgardnertrust and show your support for the brilliant work that is taking place in communities across the UK. Our new website has space for news stories and case studies to showcase the work that we support. We look forward to highlighting even more of the organisations we have funded.

For organisations seeking our funding support, we are also now able to offer the ability to apply online as well as by completing an application form. Whichever method you choose, the process remains simple and straightforward.
