Marion Friend MBE (Chair) has held senior arts administration positions at Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Young Musician of the Year and Wigmore Hall and in the early part of her career she combined freelance orchestral playing with peripatetic and class teaching. Marion was Director of Junior Trinity, (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance) a role she relinquished after twelve years in order to develop her arts and education consultancy including coaching, mentoring and facilitation. Marion is on the music advisory panel for Radcliffe Trust and is an independent assessor for Awards for Young Musicians. Until recently she was an Arts Council England quality assessor and Chair of her local Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra.

Tim Davy

Tim is an experienced creative producer and artistic planner, with a background in international touring and partnership and project management. Having worked at the Royal Opera House, Tim spent 9 years delivering major projects, partnerships, tours and residencies at the London Symphony Orchestra, working closely with Sir Simon Rattle and the LSO’s guest conductors and artists. Tim trained as a musician and creative workshop leader and producer and draws on this breadth of experience to inform all his work. Tim is a board member and trustee of Spitalfields Music alongside his current role as Executive Director, Performance & Planning at the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.

Dr. Ursula Jones OBE

Ursula was born in Switzerland but has lived in London for most of her life. She was co-founder and General Manager of the English Chamber Orchestra until 1975, when she became a student again, taking up New World archaeology at the University of London. Since then she has combined her archeological and musical interests, lecturing on the prehistory of Mexico and also organising concerts in the UK and Switzerland for young talented musicians. Ursula married the eminent trumpet player Philip Jones in 1956 and managed the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble during its last ten years. She is also a trustee of the Lucerne Festival, Streetwise Opera and the National Youth Wind Orchestra.

Nick Rampley

Nick Rampley is currently Director of Resources and Operations at the City and Guilds of London Art School. He was formerly Vice Principal of Morley College which he joined after a career in various administrative and management roles in higher education institutions within London, followed by ten years as Director of Finance and Administration at the Purcell School, one of the UK’s most prestigious specialist music schools. Nick is a trustee of a number of other charities which support music making including: NonClassical (for which he acts as treasurer), the Cornelius Cardew Concerts Trust, the Margaret Engering Music Trust and the Kensington Symphony Orchestra where he is also principal bassoon. He also holds Directorships of WeAreWaterloo Business Improvement District and Lower Marsh Market Ltd.
