Orchestras for All win prestigious award

We are delighted that Orchestras for All has won the Royal Philharmonic Society (RPS) Impact Award 2026 which recognises organisations that demonstrate the life-changing role of classical music in society, and celebrates our work empowering young people to take on leadership roles and access creative opportunities nationwide.

The Trust is proud to be a supporter of Orchestras for All’s work, most recently in 2025 with a grant for the National Orchestra for All (NOFA), its inclusive, non-auditioned youth orchestra.

Our Chair, Marion Friend, was at the ceremony held on 12 March at the Southbank Centre in London and saw OfA’s Ambassador Isabella give a powerful acceptance speech reflecting on her journey from participant to employee, and the transformative impact of inclusive music-making.

More information about the award and evening can be found on OfA’s website: https://www.orchestrasforall.org/blog/orchestras-for-all-wins-rps-impact-award-at-the-royal-philharmonic-society-awards

We send our congratulations to Orchestra for All and are so pleased to see their work breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for young people across the UK recognised in this way.
